Satish Kanwar

Satish Kanwar is the Vice President of Product Acceleration at Shopify, where he heads strategic acquisitions, investments, and alliances with mission-aligned companies and founders. Satish previously led Shopify’s expansion from online stores to multi-channel commerce, accelerating sales across ecommerce, retail, mobile, and marketplaces, including its partnerships with Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, and Apple.

Before Shopify, Satish co-founded award-winning design studio Jet Cooper, which was acquired by Shopify in 2013 in order to establish its footprint in Toronto.

Satish is a leader in the Canadian business and technology ecosystem. He is an angel investor, public speaker, and advisor. He has been named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 and Toronto Life’s Most Influentials.
