Based in Montreal, Meryeme joined Pender in 2022 bringing 8+ years experience in healthcare and enterprise software both as an operator and investor.
Before joining Pender, Meryeme most recently worked at BDC Capital’s Women In Tech Venture Fund, where she led investments for multiple early-stage / growth companies across Biotech, enterprise software and digital health. Prior to BDC Capital, Meryeme was at Medteq where she solely focused on early-stage investments in digital health, diagnostics and medical device companies.
Meryeme started her career as a consultant in bioproducts and wearables before co-founding a venture-backed health tech startup. Meryeme is active in the startup community, including mentorship roles with a number of Montreal-based incubators and accelerators. She holds an MBA from Laval University.
