Christopher Wassenaar

Christopher Wassenaar has more than fifteen years of experience as a Chief Legal Officer and Board Secretary with six private equity and venture capital backed technology firms. Christopher has reported to CEO’s and Boards at three global software and integrated payments organizations, a global data integration and management company, as well as at both a software as a service (SaaS platform or cloud) company and a legacy on premise (behind the firewall) software company. Christopher has also utilized his dual major MBA in international business and information technology systems to lead multiple functional organizations (corporate development, compliance, risk, security, and human relations) alongside his day-to-day general counsel and secretarial responsibilities. Christopher has also led international expansion, merger integration, regulatory compliance, and payment licensing projects in the United States, Canada, multiple countries within Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Hong Kong. Christopher is always eager to roll up his sleeves and assist a growth oriented private equity or venture capital backed technology firm with current international operations or future expansion plans.
