Kazi Ahmed is the Co-Founder and CEO of Carbon6 Technologies, a Toronto-based e-commerce software platform dedicated to simplifying success for online sellers. Since its inception in 2021, Kazi has been instrumental in transforming Carbon6 into one of Canada’s fastest-growing tech companies. Under his leadership, the company executed an ambitious growth strategy, acquiring 16 companies and expanding its suite of tools to support thousands of Amazon sellers worldwide.

In early 2025, Carbon6 announced its acquisition by SPS Commerce for $305 million CAD, marking one of Canada’s notable tech exits. This strategic move aims to combine Carbon6’s innovative solutions with SPS Commerce’s extensive retail network, enhancing support for both first-party and third-party e-commerce sellers.

Prior to founding Carbon6, Kazi built a diverse career across consulting, strategy, and entrepreneurship. He held multiple roles at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and co-founded ventures such as Betterfrost Technologies and Holimed. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and dual degrees in Engineering and Economics from Dartmouth College. He is an active contributor to Toronto’s tech ecosystem, frequently speaking at events like TechTO, where he shares insights on scaling startups and fostering resilience in entrepreneurship.
