It’s an honour to be the CEO of Optimity, a startup that is transforming the insurance industry to enable insurability for all & a new lifestyle-based pricing/underwriting models.
Prior to Optimity, I created innovative new “FICO scores” for banks & healthcare organizations, and spent a decade in global clinical trials in maximizing adherence and performing dynamic risk scoring using software for patients in North America, Asia and the EU.
I build SaaS tech and scoring IP based on 30+ years of behavioral science and our proprietary dataset to power a new underwriting paradigm. Our customers can now continuously and more accurately assess risk, while fostering healthier consumer clients. We are building an end-to-end ecosystem that will power the new health/life-centric model of insurance and beyond. For example, we offer a digital holistic well-being platform for employers using gamification & habit-coaching behavior economics to support health lifestyle engagement.

Our technology solutions personalizes our Optimity mobile app for users through dynamic health & wealth risk assessments and are able to educate and support members on healthy activities, financial best practices, and lifestyle choices to hit their goals.
Outside of Optimity, I enjoy learning, executing and teaching strategy (Lean Startup Machine Toronto) and university students (Western, McGill, Tsinghua University & Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade).
For fun, I play tennis, beach volleyball and volunteer my time coordinating fashion shows and charity events to raise money for Leukaemia and Cancer research & prevention.
