Michele Romanow

Clearbanc. Current Dragon

Having started 5 companies before her 33rd birthday, Michele’s business savvy, drive, and tenacity led her to become the youngest entrepreneur ever to star as a “Dragon” on CBC’s hit show Dragons’ Den. Named one of the “100 Most Powerful in Canada” by WXN, Michele was the only Canadian included in Forbes’ “Millennial on a Mission” list and was recently named a “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum. She is currently the President & Co-founder of Clearbanc, an online financial services company that will invest $1 billion in startups in 2019.  Previously Michele co-founded Buytopia.ca and SnapSave, acquired by US tech giant Groupon. A prolific angel investor and the winner of Angel Investor of the Year award, she also co-founded the Canadian Entrepreneurship Initiative with Richard Branson to encourage more women entrepreneurs.
