Lucas is currently a managing partner at Red Lane Group, where he advises, invests, and leads buy-outs of B2B software companies. He sits on the board of Red Lane Capital, Red Lane Technologies and Red Oak Technologies. He is coaching and advising several global software companies spanning the full spectrum from start-ups to mature companies that are reinventing themselves. Lucas Skoczkowski founded Redknee in 1999 and was the CEO until February 2017. He grew the software business from a four-person start-up to a USD250 million/year, 2000 employee global business with over 200 customers and a variety of products deployed in over 100 countries. Mr. Skoczkowski gained considerable experience in sales, operations, business and product development with a variety of international assignments at Nortel Networks (USA, UK, Canada), & Clearnet. He served as a Director of the Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation (CMSF – now known as LORAN); advisor to Nulogy Corporation, and a director of Redknee Solutions Inc. (TSX: RKN) until March 17, 2017. He advised the CEO and the board of Sigma Systems until it was sold to Hansen Technologies in May 2019. He served as a Director at 20-20 Technologies Inc. (TSX: TWT), from March 15, 2011 until the company de-listed from TSX. He served as a member of the Dean’s Development Council for the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo. In 2014, he was featured in the Global Telecoms Business list of top 100 most influential executives in the telecoms business. He has been honored with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Information Technology sector for Ontario, as well as a Top 40 Under 40 Award for Canada. Mr. Skoczkowski has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where he was a Loran Scholar. He is a member of Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), as well as continuing on-going learning with the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI). Lucas is an active member of Young President Organization (YPO) since 2005. Mr. Skoczkowski lives with his wife and four children in Oakville, Ontario.
